Two years in the making, this production is truly an international effort. Carousel Players has been working closely with Oily Cart, the creators of our past production of Patty's Cake. This production will be touring into venues in England before arriving in Canada.

Bread is one of the oldest of human foods, and it exists in various forms in many societies. Most of us eat some form of bread each day. But a wonderful magic happens when the yeast combines with the flour and the dough begins to rise.

Aimed at very young children aged 3-6 years, an age group very much under-provided for in terms of theatre that is truly accessible to them.

They'll encounter snowstorms of flour, forests of breadstick trees, jagged mountains of crust, and marvellous characters moulded from dough who shape-shift before your eyes as the tantalising aroma of an actual loaf baking fills the room.
